2020 United States Presidential Election - What is the logic of US medias?

When Trump lied, which he did constantly, it was the media's obligation to call him out for it. Now he has effectively lost the election, given the actual ballot turnout, so speaking practically and saying he has lost is only natural.

Like…I can't tell if it's pure stupidity, trolling, or just next-level cope when the MAGA cultists keep crying about "media decided the election".
