Why does Pip remind me of Timmy Turner?

It just hit me the other day that Pinkie Pie was there to take Grannie Smith's place as the kids' chaperone for the evening, so when you look at in that light she was actually taking on a fair bit of responsibility and wasn't just there to act like a little kid.
