People do realize that 1-floor dungeons have been made plenty of times right?
People do realize that part of the fun of role-playing a character with a handicap is role-playing out the hindrances of that drawback?
People do realize that keeping the drawbacks of handicap adventurers is an exceptional way to teach empathy to the everyday struggles that handicap people have to face and that by neutering them we are just slapping handicap on as a purely aesthetic choice which is much more offensive?

PEOPLE DO REALIZE THAT DUNGEONS ARE MAKE-BELIEVE AND THAT ANYONE CAN JUST ROLE-PLAY MOVING THROUGH THEM RIGHT? WHY IS THIS THE MAIN THING WIZARDS WANTS TO PUSH WHILE DRAGONLANCE GETS SCRAPPED HOLY FUCK.

I don't get it though… Couldn't a DM just decide if a dungeon they make is wheel-chair accessible already? And what even is the lore-explanation for an old-timey fantasy world suddenly being progressive for a minor group of people?
