You do shoe oxen hooves, and I think some reindeer get shod too.

I don’t think you shoe cloven hooves.

Besides that, I suppose hoof care would be interesting in worlds with demons and beastmen. Especially if it carries the same level of “sensitivity”. Though probably makes more sense with hooves over horns.
