What a retarded PSA. It failed in its goal of not being racist. Like they were self aware for a split second and then threw it away to be more racist.

Christ, how is "see me differently because of the color of my skin" not the text-book definition of racism? This just turned into another "White's should feel guilty, blacks should feel victimized."

Amethyst's rant doesn't even make sense, alien or not, people would still treat her normally once they were aware of her as a person. Y'know, like they do in the actual show. The gems integrated with the humans quickly when they actually gave them the time of day, and were treated no different. The use of a non-human race is just a means of showing that even beings that genuinely are different from us can be treated as equally as possible because they're people too.
