Notes:

The Moon Rabbit relates to two separate stories told by the Aztecs as to how a rabbit-shaped marking came to be on the moon.

The first involves the god Quetzalcoatl when he was still a human and making a long journey. However, he did not bring any food with him and was unable to find any on the way.

Soon he collapsed close to death, starving and exhausted.

A rabbit grazing nearby, noticing the fallen man, offered herself as food to save his life. Quetzalcoatl, moved by the rabbit's noble offering, elevated her to the Moon, then lowered her back to Earth and told her, "You may be just a rabbit, but everyone will remember you; there is your image in light, for all people and for all times."

The second story is absolutely hilarious and I've told it in the comments due to the character cap.
