We joke but the working conditions and severe underpay a lot of these animators face would be huge news practically anywhere else but because of Japan's terrible work culture it's mostly gone under the radar, the only reason a lot of the animators continue to work is purely out of a passion for the medium.

So yeah, support the works you enjoy, buy the BDs, buy the merch or directly donate to a charity supporting them if possible.
