From my own experiences i from what i remember there are people on here that i remember who hold that mentality have some boogieman.
Hell Gar used to regularly post something about how GAMERGATE IS OBBESSED WITH a literally who when they do something stupid in public and it makes the rounds.
More reasonable persons might also do so could have some sort of rationale because gamergate == altright pipeline or something,.
hell I'm pretty sure with the right framing you might agree with it but that's on this site.
