Not so much the specific nature of certain political views, but rather the type of politics that worm into modern video games: confrontational, heavy-handed, ham-fisted, superficial, and far too on-the-nose to specific real-life modern politics.
I get unreasonably annoyed when people try to hide their naked politicking under the aegis of properly-developed games with thoughtful and broad political themes. We know the difference, whether or not we have the eloquence to define it.

despite genuinely ignorant morons who think clearly political things aren't political existing, people really try hard to pretend there's no difference between spec ops: the line's narrative about the grim nature of war, and games like MK11 having their villain blurt out soundbytes to compare them to Trump.
