The grief they must be dealing with in that moment, as the child they watched grow into a strong young man was now dead, never able to tell him how much they loved him. Unable to give him all of the affection and time he deserved. Not even able to give him a final goodbye or an "I love you". Now imagine someone who's effectively a sister to the boy who died calling everyone a fake and a liar because of something else that was completely unrelated and storming out of the room like a huffy toddler, despite being a full grown adult. the fact that some people unironically complained about the Sonic movie's success because they "gave in to whiny fans" still kills 5 of my brain cells per day, that's either the most gross display of corporate shilling or an "I'M NOT OWNED! I'M NOT OWNED!" moment of epic proportions
