Context is that Latin America's stream of their GG Strive top 8 got screwed over due to network issues, and they couldn't stream a lot fo it. Some people blame how Mexico got lumped into it despite being closer to NA and that SA players were in it and the general issue of managing a large region for those tournaments as well as due to distances and potential connection issues, other blame the game's specating mode for the issues due to said network issues and desyncs.

Joey Cuellar V @MrWiz The DOA ad that aired on our stream does not reflect the core values of Evo or the FGC. We ended the stream temporarily to protect the integrity of our brand. Our core values only permit p--------- currently. For example when Hitomi Tanaka crossed the age of 12 she no longer represented our core values.
This was the old Pony-based Fighting Game that rebranded and fixed its netcode for EVO. Pulling themselves out of the race for Wiz's misconduct.
