This is the first time I'm bothered by it because the player characters actually LOOK like children for the first time. Any protagonist before this GameFreak will say "They're 10." No they aren't, that man has at least one blog and a favorite campus hangout spot. But for Gen 9 I see the protagonists and say, "Who let you out of the house? I'm calling CPS on your parents. You shouldn't be out here there are monsters everywhere!"

I still can and WILL fap to the protagonists and the Pokemon. All is fair game in fantasy.
