I am not gonna hate people for being disconnected , after all , their support towards ukraine is welcome … its just that it hurts a little.

"Russians are fascists"

I mean… yeah, Putin really did take notes from Mussolini's "Bundle of sticks" ideology. Russian citizens are (typically) not fascists but the current regime is. The people in seats of power have formed a sort of political wall, or (bundle of sticks using the fascismo analoogy), around Putin, protecting him from opposition, which is forcibly quelled. In its current state Russia is waving all of the read flags of fascism, including wanting to use war and imperialism to "rejuvinate" the country, in Putin's case, he looks back fondly on the Soviet Union.

Was that meant to sound absurd? Because it really isn't.
