The reported average casualty ratio is 3:1, which is pretty bad. Russians face horrific losses when they're on the offensive, but Ukraine also faces losses when they attack as well so it evens out to 3:1. Honestly, I'm starting to question if it was ever a meme in the first place. The Poles have trained for the past 30 years to fight against the Russians that ravaged the countryside for the previous 45. There is not anyone within living memory that hasn't either been under Russian oppression or living in a land ravaged by Russian oppression. I'm almost worried if we let them loose they'll commit atrocities that make the Russians look tame in comparison.
