IShowSpeed's December 29th, 2021, Stream! This fateful stream has inspired several memes since it premiered in 2021, thanks largely to an iShowSpeed fan who, during a game of Fortnite, begged YouTuber and streamer Speed for help because his mom was "kind of homeless." Speed was overtaken by emotions and struggled to keep his laughter in, which was quickly pointed out by another player.

This moment stuck out not only to Speed's fans, but to social media users in general as the clip went viral on sites like X / Twitter, TikTok and more as a meme. Now, years later, the clip remains a prevalent meme. Speed recently recreated it in a reunion stream with the same people, and the stream was even added to IMDb, becoming one of the most highly rated pieces of content on the site.

White Rabbit Pointing at a Clock

Securing second place with 12.8 percent of the total votes is the White Rabbit Pointing at a Clock meme. This meme is based on a piece of art inspired by Alice In Wonderland and, as you may have guessed, shows the White Rabbit pointing at a pocket watch. While the image has been popping up online occasionally since 2012, when it was uploaded to DeviantArt by user Luz Tapia, it's become popularized on sites like TikTok and X this year.

Mostly, the meme is used as a way of suggesting that time, in relation to a given subject, is running out, whether you realize it or not. It's also used to ominously suggest something bad will inevitably happen given enough time, such as in the All Roads Lead to Rome meme, which the image has become attached to.

Hasan Piker Dog Shock Collar Memes

In a very close third place, with 12.7 percent of the total votes, are the electrifying Hasan Piker Dog Shock Collar memes and controversy, also known as "Collargate." In October, what seemed to be the entire population of the internet began accusing or defending leftist Twitch streamer Hasan Piker of shocking his dog Kaya during a livestream. This quickly became one of the biggest stories of the year as people took sides, with many believing Piker committed an act of animal abuse by allegedly shocking his dog for stepping off her bed, while others came to Piker's defense and claimed there was no shock collar whatsoever.

Ultimately, the whole thing turned into a huge, confusing mess, but we sure did get a whole lot of memes out of it, including some that show Piker zapping his dog like Zeus just for doing normal dog stuff. Don't be shocked if you're still seeing these memes pop up in Piker's comment sections or random social media pages for months to come.

Pibble

Sniffing into fourth with 6.6 percent of the votes is Pibble, a funny name and slang term for little French bulldog pups that like to get their bellies washed. The term "pibble" first started spreading online as early as 2014 as a cutesy way of referring to pitbulls. Then, in the 2020s, it was attached to French bulldogs thanks to the power of memes, particularly alongside images and videos of the pups with their rotund bellies showing.

These memes have really been blowing up on TikTok and Instagram Reels this month, with a viral audio of a voice saying, "I am Pibble, was my belly," accelerating the term's spread.

Khaby Lame Mechanism

Shrugging its way into fifth with 6.5 percent of the votes is the Khaby Lame Mechanism, a series of memes using a bizarre video of a machine that doesn't just resemble TikToker Khaby Lame, but also does his iconic open-palmed demonstrative shrug-slap (or whatever you want to call it).

The mechanism was created and shared by YouTuber ATMUMAN back in 2021 and went viral several times over the following years for the perplexing fact that it exists. It started to become a more widespread subject of memes throughout 2025, with many of these memes also hinging on the absurdity of the mechanism. Most recently, people have been making memes about getting cursed to live in the Khaby Lame Mechanism, a fate no sane person would ever desire.
