Wait, this webcomic is still going? Holy crap! I remember these from ages ago.

Honestly, in a lot of ways I liked the internet better circa late 90s/early 00s, before social media as we know it was a thing, back when it was old style bulletin boards and half-finished GeoCities websites. Sure, there was horrible stuff on the internet back then as well, but it was largely contained and didn't infest the broader 'net, much less mainstream culture. Once Facebook and smartphones became things, it was all downhill.
