I have kinda liked the Kane Pixels backrooms videos. Might have preferred it with the existence of entities therein remaining ambiguous, but they've been used sparingly enough to at least keep some atmosphere of mystery, and I like the way it's slotted into a coherent setting while remaining inscrutable. And it dodges the stupid "levels" monster mash shit. Still in 100% agreement that the feeling of lost isolation is the all-too-often misunderstood point though.
