I think this reboot is exactly what Pokemon needed.

I've stressed it countless times, but I'm just so impressed by how well the community took Ash's retirement. And Liko's made a strong impression on the community, unsurprising due to how god-tier Pokemon Girl designs traditionally tend to be.

Literally my only gripe with her is that she follows that anime trope of the protagonist being unable to piece the obvious together – she still doesn't know that Dot is Nido-thing, despite the evidence being right there in her face. She just thinks Dot's a huge fan of Nido-thing.

Sweet, sweet summer child… then again, she literally is a child, so I guess it makes sense.
