And the characters that are actually entertaining have been pushed into the background and/or ruined over the years (Ahem... SMG3) Forcefully wants his videos, and especially his arcs to be taken seriously despite continuing promoting his channel as "the wacky random Mario channel with the funny faces" Prefers quantity over quality, uploading at least 2 or 3 videos every month Too reliant on current memes and fads, making new videos age horribly in just a few weeks Fandom is extremely toxic. Stay away from it as much as possible The Virgin SMG4 S Does clickbait (e.g. Mario's Corn Trip only has Mario for literally 12 seconds) Thinks that Mario stretching and squashing his face is the pinnacle of comedy to the point of repeating it 20 times in nearly every video His version of Mario went from being a dangerous but funny depraved idiot, to a rude and childish moron who turns smart, nice and kind when the plot demands it Stops being funny to have lore His parodies used to be among his best videos, but nowadays they barely qualify as parodies (e.g. His parody of Splatoon 3 has absolutely nothing to do with the real Splatoon 3, other than having a manray with giant eyeballs for literally 5 seconds) Ever since he started making arcs, videos have gotten worse and worse each year Fandom created a strange, unnecessary, and out of nowhere rivalry with SML of all things, despite the fact that both channels hardly have anything to do with each other to be considered rivals Too afraid of being sued by Nintendo, that has removed, retconned, replaced or redesigned all the Mario/Nintendo-related elements of his channel in recent years (And yet, he still keeps Mario as he is because he knows he's his money maker) Quality since 2012 The Chad TerminalMontage Characters are very simple, but they still manage to entertaining and memorable Never tries to get his videos taken seriously. He doesn't even take them seriously himself Takes his time making and uploading videos. He can go months without uploading and still never lose his touch Avoids relying on memes and fads so most of his videos can be timeless Fandom is chill and decent M te He is honest with his thumbnails and titles. Keeps his jokes fresh. Never overuses any running gag to the point of making it unfunny and annoying His version of Mario went from being a bland one-dimensional character to a powerful speedrunning deity His parodies are funny and clever at the same time, and they know very well the source material they are parodying Ever since he started making the "Something About" series, videos have gotten better and better each year "I Am Four Parallel Universes Ahead Of You" Sells merchandise with Nintendo characters on it because he's not afraid of being sued by Nintendo Has lore while still being funny

It's kinda like the image said. The videos became too focused on arcs, introducing new characters to potentially just throw away, and Mario was just all over the place. It also lost alot of what, in my opinion, make the older ones so good, memes. Sure some are still meme based, but something about them just doesn't land. Maybe it's how short lived the memes they're based on are. I haven't looked at the channel in quite a while, so I dunno what it's like these days.
