The Power Suit is kinda magical, being able to dematerialize at Samus' will in a bright light and is connected to her through some biological means. Alot of that comes from Chozo's mix of scientific and spiritual abilities, and since the Zero Suit was also given to Samus by the Chozo, it could have similar properties.

Also, you look at how Samus regains the Power Suit in Zero Mission and tell me she couldn't pull off a whole magical transformation sequence.
