EGM's preview for the PSP, written following the announcement prior to E3 2003.

Note that the design of the PSP was unknown to the public at the time, leading to EGM speculating that the handheld would have a clamshell design similar to the Game Boy Advance and contemporary cell phones. In retrospect, the PSP's final design was ahead of its time, with its slate-like form resembling smartphones a few years later.

Also note that it was assumed that the PSP would have dual analogs. That would have been nice.
