Xenomorph warrior drone

ALIEN WARRIOR DRONE COMPARISON CHART ALIEN Costume designed and sculpted by HR GIGER onto body cast of Bolaji Bodejo, a tall, thin African Masal art student, who played the role in the movie. Had all the trademark design elements in place, huge head, four back tubes and headrest, opposing thumbs, tall, boney exoskeleton, extruding tongue and slime. Colors were from black to dark greys and browns, with occasional lighter colors from exposed, raw latex. Clear dome with shading in front to hide eye socket like holes. ALIENS Costumes and Puppets redesigned from HR Giger base by Stan Winston for director James Cameron. Head domes and alternate thumbs removed, replaced by skeletal head features and three fingered hand. Elbow appendages added on some warriors. Overall design is similar to first film's only now is made to be more mobile due to use of spandex base suits. ALIEN 3 Costume and overall design taken over by Amagamated Dynamics, Inc., Led my Tom Woodruff and Alec Gillis, with some nod to a new design by Giger. This Alien is based on a thinner canine-like body, and is without any back appendages. The head dome is returned and the ribbing is more organic than before. Less like the previous two designs. This drone also has double jointed legs and is faster than previous incarnations. Brown and tans in colors and with black bones and nails. ALIEN Resurrection Designed again by ADI, these Drones are the cloned, genetic by-products of Ripley/Queen combined DNA, and are therefore more fleshy and less boney looking than before. Head domes are still in place, four back tubes return, but no headrest. Hands are strange with very long. Thin fingers. Extended bones in tall and webbing on arms allow for swimming action. Double jointed, dog like legs again, but mostly vertical posture as opposed to dog-like. Colors run deep browns. ALIEN vs Predator The warriors for this film are again, ADI, and are in many ways, a rehash of the Alien Resurrection warrior designs with minor changes. Colors are a simplified black and metallic variation. Legs are back to a more human configuration with one knee joint. Headrest returns with four tubes. Hands are a bit fuller and stronger looking, with opposing thumbs again.
