I know very few of you know who I am.

But with this news, I want to say something before it's too late.

I found KYM by change.
And I stayed for the funnies, for the lewds, and for the honest to goodness good userbase for 12+ years.

And I know most of said good userbase will leave with the death of the old site cause screw the new UI. A few have already deactivated their accounts.

So I just want to say, to those that know me, to those that don't know me, and to those that never interacted with me in this website.

Thank you for all the good times.

I logged in to this website everyday cause the userbase would always manage to show or tell me something new, funny or good that made putting up with the enshittification worth it.

And cheesy as this sound, you people always manage to show me a good time or inform me about something I would like or needed to know just by uploading the things you thought was funny.

So many good recommentations for shows and games. So many artist to follow that I learned through users uploads. A better understanding of the state of the internet. Adblocker and browser addons to make the internet a better. All the spicy sources of ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) things I would greatly enjoy. And all the actual funny images and memes that pulled me into this site in the first place.

And I'm going to miss all of that if this truly is the end.

The actual funny images and actual memes, the softcore lewd art, the cool stuff, the neutral helpful information sharing in the few serious post and forums, the new helpful tipbits to make the internet a bit more usable, the chill familiarity vibes from the regular active enjoyable KYM members.
The KYM members that actual draw, the ones that bring up new information to the topic, the ones that give good recommentations, the ones that actual make good points, the ones that make witty comments, the shitposters, hell, I'm even going to miss the users that I don't like cause even they managed to bring enjoyment to this userbase.

KYM was and is a small niche website with a good userbase.
And I fear it no longer will have said userbase soon-ish.

So while I'm still able to say it.

"It was a pleasure to share this website and time with all of you. Even if we did it in the most indirect way possible, I'm glad to have been part of this userbase even as a simple silent observer."
