Shout-out to RamdomGuy2013 for inspiring me to make this post.

I discovered KYM over decade ago through Memebase. It's was a perfect place to find and smile at good memes via the trending page, with an actually sane users.

I saw the downfall unfold with these bots blinking reposting tons of reddit memes, clogging up galleries with crap that bury good images by posted by real users. This move basically killed entire galleries, like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It became rare to see a post with 100+ upvotes because so many people left. Each entities' Trending page use to change every few days with new, fresh hits. Now their barely change across weeks.

But hell, I stuck with KYM, even as TikTok trash filled the front page and some moron upstairs tried pushing this new and worse layout. At least, we could revert to the Old Site…

…yet now they're going to end to old site altogether.

And I'm just done.

I'll lurk around until the old site is killed, maybe post a couple more images, out of respect. After that, I'm off to greener pastures.
