Any SINKS or DINKS looking to relocate? Non Smoking/ No 420 friendly home Bf and I own a house in Augusta, GA. We were supposed to be here longer, but due to the military budget cuts we now have to return to CA at the end of July. We've had one long term tenant who works with bf and will also have to leave in July, and the other room we've had on Airbnb. We are DINKS, and as we've been property manager hunting we thought, why not ask our fellow childless people and see if any of them is interested in becoming our live in property manager? It would be $500 a month for the master bedroom and bathroom which is under half of what the other rooms go for. All utilities included. Can add in use of a car (2016 Kia Optima), at an additional cost if needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who works remotely and wants to stack cash for their own home! Your responsibilities: -Turning over the rooms in between tenants/Airbnb guests (we have a combo washer/dryer it's amazing and makes this super easy) -Keeping the house neat and tidy -Finding and maintaining tenants for the other rooms -Communicating with us -Keeping the house neat and tidy -Finding and maintaining tenants for the other rooms -Communicating with us -Building a list of people to contact when things go wrong (plumbers, HVAC, electricians etc. We already have some of these and can give you what we have.) What we're looking for: -Someone with critical thinking skills and can demonstrate initiative -Someone who's great with technology (all the doors have electronic keypad locks, we have a smart fridge, lots of tech upgrades in the home) -Someone responsible with good cleaning and housekeeping standards. -Bonus points if you're handy around the house because then we can compensate you when something goes wrong instead of outsourcing. -Nonsmoker. I am allergic to nicotine so this is nonnegotiable for my health. Bo 1h. My daughters father has a new girlfriend and a new job he's doing really well, he always gives me money. He even helps with my other kids who aren't his. But since his new girlfriend came into the picture he still gives me money, and takes his daughter every weekend, BUT he brings the gf. I don't like her and I told him to break up with her. I see now that was a mistake.
I hope this isn't against the rules, but my feelings have been a little hurt. A mother posted on my local group asking for assistance because she's 9 months pregnant and didn't have anything for the baby, so I did what crocheters do best, I made a matching hat, mitten, and boot set for her, and was starting on a blanket for her. I didn't expect anything in return for it, I just did it because I wanted to. When I pmed her to show her she replys with "that's sweet but no thank you, I'm looking for real clothes and baby items" I don't have money to buy expensive items so I'm feeling a little hurt that my hard work wasn't considered "real baby items". I hope I didn't break any rules..pic of the hat just to show it.
