So, our idea was to ask a woman with the skills of a "voice actress," someone who could "create a cute voice in a professional way." ..After several meetings, things progressed smoothly, and Crypton ended up signing a contract with a major voice acting agency that also manages several singers. Of course, this doesn't mean we'll be asking voice actors to voice all future Vocaloid series, but the high-quality characters (which allow for fine-tuning) and the control over nuances of the voice's beginning and ending (which is actually the most important aspect of Vocaloid...) that we can obtain from voice actors have given us a lot of hints and possibilities for creating our Vocaloid libraries.
