@Yinzer: no, i believe what this image is saying is that Amon IS NOT a true "Energy Bender", but just a man who knows the Chi network very well

It has to be some kind of block. Like when Aang couldn't enter the Avatar state until he was shocked into it. There was no energy being changed like in the final episode when he fought Ozai. I have been thinking he would end up doing this to Korra at some point and she'd find a way to get it back. This would make perfect sense if they went that way with it. It would lead to a hell of a rebound against Amon too. One week is too long to wait!
