Alright, since this looks cannon, let's take a look at what this shows us:

-Neighagra Falls is the best pun ever
-Chrystal mountains. Can anyone guess when these will show up?
-Big Mac has his own mountain range
-Based on where Ponyville, Canterlot, Cloudsdale, Dodge, and Appleoosa are, it looks like the first two seasons have all been in roughly the same region
-Based on how far away some of these places are, there are going to be a lot more "journey" episodes, where the cast goes on long trips
-The "not to scale" label at the bottom left is probably there so that the writers don't have to be consistent with their portrayal of travel
-The fact that there is a desert to the south and a "frozen" north indicates that Equestria is just a band of fertile territory surrounded by harsh climates, which would explain why the pre-Equestrian ponies were so hard off, and why there are monsters everywhere
-Griffons have their own kingdom. It hasn't been defined yet, but the fact that it exists means that it will probably come up at some point in the future (with the crystal ponies) so we should try to decipher what that first word says
