Or even better, you do the old trading trick to get all three.

1. Start new game
2. Pick A.B as starter pony
3. Trade A.B to vacant cartridge at first opportunity
4. Start new game, repeat process for Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle
5. Trade all of them back to the original cartridge
6. You now have all 3 starters
7. Also profit
