Damn Bitch, You Live Like This? refers to an exploitable comic featuring Max and Roxanne from The Goofy Movie as drawn by Instagram user eboni. The exploitable is a branch off the Wow Queen, You're So Beautiful meme eboni.'s drawing spawned, and usually features Max mocking Roxanne's messy space.

Origin

On April 13, 2016, Instagram user @eboni._ posted the original drawing^[1] which features Max from The Goofy Movie talking to the character Roxanne. It was posted with the caption, "Quick sketch of Max and Roxanne."

In November of 2016, a remixed version of the meme placing the characters in a dirty apartment with Max saying "Damn bitch, you live like this?" appeared. While it seems the original post is lost, it has been attributed to a November 28th, 2016 post Facebook user Travis Cuomo by KnowYourMeme user Travonomics^[2] (shown below). The earliest extant post featuring the image appeared on November 29th on Imgur.^[3]

Spread

Over the following several months, it was used as a reaction image and forum weapon to posts featuring pictures of or scenarios describing messy areas. For example, on February 1st, 2017 Twitter user @slightlypeachy posted the image in response to a viral tweet showing off a messy room (shown below, left). On January 17th, user @elotepreparado shared the picture along with several pictures of a messy room (shown below, right).

After spreading as a reaction image, the picture began seeing use as an exploitable. For example, on March 18th, 2018, Tumblr user squiddly-diddly posted the joke set in Silent Hill, gaining over 2,400 notes (shown below, left). On April 2nd, Twitter user @_chimosa_ inverted the joke, talking about nice middle class homes, gaining over 18,000 retweets and 67,000 likes (shown below, right).
