Does it really matter though?

Meme's themselves have become disposable media, to the point where it's harder to tell what's "forced" any more. Ponification is simply an extension of that meme regardless of whether it's in the right gallery or not.

In any case to complain about this makes it only more noticeable, ergo more crossovers occur.

@Jacob That's my problem. I find most of the pony crossovers to shitty and redundant and so do many others. It's the same thing 99% of the time when someone brings ponies to a non-pony gallery: "lol look at the ponies aren't they awesome?". It's shit like that every single time and it's gotten to the point where I can actually guess, quite accurately, how long it will take before something gets a shitty pony image that exists solely for the purpose of ponification. It happens every single time as sure as the sun coming up in the morning. There are some images I liked where the ponification was funny and/or clever, like this:

It's well made and rather amusing. The best part? It's in the fucking pony gallery where it belongs.
