I can accept this. Maybe not as direct comparisons as the image suggests, but as a way of reconciling the whole Derpy/Dinky thing with actual canon.

We know that Written Script and Golden Harvest are Dinky's parents, not Derpy. But if they were analogous to the Ponds, one could argue that they leave Dinky in Derpy's care while they're out adventuring with The Doctor.

So Derpy isn't Dinky's mother, she's her "aunt." Canon gels with fanon, and everybody walks away happy.
