I understand this is for science, but if you think about it having a rabbit wich is alredy hunted by alot of predators, glow in the dark, it's pretty tremendous disvantage.

Well, I don't think that if these rabbits DID get out, that there's be that much to be concerned about.

I somewhat doubt that predators eating these rabbits would cause them harm, the rabbits aren't glowing because of radiation or anything particularly un-natural (relatively speaking). It's done by bioluminescence.

The only way that ecological harm could occur is if these rabbits bred… but as already stated, they wouldn't last long in the wild with glowing green coats of fur.

If they did somehow get out, it'd be one of those problems that solves itself.
