Compliments are nice, but don't put someone up on a pedestal. Don't fangirl over someone so much that vou never have real interaction with them Seriously. They're just people; treat them like it. Do not spam them with messages like "Wow you're so beautiful!!' you're gorgeous!!, you are sooo hot. i would do you in a heart beat. and the like. It's not sweet, it's creepy as f---. On a similar note, don't put yourself down in order to compliment someone. It's awkward and uncomfortable, and no one likes it. Lastly, learn to take hints. If you're messaging someone five times a day, and they never respond, they probably don't want to talk to you Spamming them with more asks is not going to help. If you send one ask and they don't respond within a few days (and they've been online) send another one to make sure that tumblr didn't eat the ask. But if they are consistently not responding, then take the hint and leave them o recap_ BAD things to say to try and initiate friendship: can i be friends with you? you against a wall. please let me touch you will you be my friend? oh my god, you're the hottest person i've ever seen. seriously, id do okay i know you're like perfect and i'm super annoying and gross, but "twenty asks sent in a half hour period begging someone to respond .
