“illegally downloading food”

Thats sounds like it could work as centrical part of a film/novel/comic about a distant dytopian future in which an oppressive government that distributes meager rations to a starving populace in order to keep them weak and subordinate, and there’s a group rebels called “food fighters” who are working to steal the government’s top secret food replicators that can produce nutrient rich food by piecing together subatomic particles (kinda like the replicators from Star Trek).
