Celestia is trying to find there whereabouts of a mysterious new villain. She dispatches Discord to a mysterious part of Equestria, but he cannot overpower the new villain and it absorbs his power.

Then Twilight must Deus Ex Machina harder than ever before to destroy the threat. And somewhere in this process, the new land becomes Twilight's responsibility.
