I honestly don't mind Smogon. But the Smogonite Elitists are a bunch of cunts.

I understand where you are coming from, but you need to understand counters and such before making any decisions. Stuff like Kanga do not have counters that can reliably deal with her, its the same deal with most of the ubers. It really limits teambuilding when everything is a Kanga counter/check. I dont know if you played during gen 4 when garchomp was the deciding factor in all fights, its very comparable.

…and just because something has a couple checks/counters doesnt mean that it isnt OP. Shedinja counters Kyogre, but does that make Kyogre not OP?
