![[tw: fat hate] I had to fly somewhere recently and had to pay for two tickets, which is b------- but that's not the point here. I figured at least l'd get to travel in peace, right? Of course not. First I had to get dowrn the world's narrowest aisle to even get to my seats, that was loads of fun. Then when I'm finally settled in, I have to get up again cause the guy in the window seat shows up. Then this guy wants me to switch seats with him. I said hell no, I had to pay for two seats and l'm gonna f------ sit in them. You want more leg room, you buy a second seat too. And this guy, he gets the flight attendant involved, says something about 90 second evacuations and it took me half that just to get up... like what the hell, he was f------ timing me while I'm struggling to get out of this Chinese finger trap of a seat, who does that kind of thing? This f------ a------ says that he can't sit in his seat because if the plane crashes he'll die in a fire and it's all my fault. Now l've been informed a million times that I'm eating myself to death but apparently now we fatties cause second-hand death too, like cigarettes or something. F------ fat hater of the year, found a brand new way to dehumanize me Anyway. The flight attendant said her hands were tied and unless another passenger agreed to switch, the bigoted a------ had to sit in his seat. You'll be shocked to hear that no one volunteered to sit next to me, even though I paid for the f------ second seat and wouldn't be "spilling over" onto anybody. There must have been 200 people on that flight and no one would treat me like a f------ human being. Just putting that out there in case anyone thinks buying a second seat is a f------ solution to f------ oppression.
