Do any of your sometimes get tired of fans over-worshiping Lauren Faust? Shadow Flare 725 bits View Inventory Send Money To Shadow_Flare « on: February 18, 2013, 10:46:25 AM If there is a common comment I see in places like EQD, youtube, deviant, etc. when it comes to something they don't like, it's always things like "If Lauren were still here, this s--- would never have happened, "Its no wonder Lauren left or other similar comments like that. Now I'm grateful for Mrs. Faust creating something as wonderful as this show, but I knew that she had to move on with her career. And l trust her when she said that she trusts the current staff with what they're doing. But sadly, it seems that some people still refuse to belive in the rest of the staff despite the things they have done so far. Like whenever something in the show is expanded, they complain in that it goes against what Lauren created or some stuff like that. By the time the show hit the airwaves, she was almost completely out of control. The idea that during season 1, she hovered over the writers' shoulders and molded the episodes into a overarching story... isn't quite false, but its not as if since then, there has been no collaboration and that what little connection between episodes that existed before has been completely scrapped. Stranger Reply #2 on: February 18, 2013, 11:05:13 AM » I think her biggest importance was introducing the show itself, maybe it's a bit of a stretch to believe she is superior to everything, even though its thanks to her G4 exists and achieved its current success, with the help of the writers, who are still carrying on.
