UM, BOC Fluttershy falls to her death and, as a ghost, decides to enact revenge on everypony who ever scared her by sneaking up and saying boo. However, nopony cares. It's ultimately discovered she's been dead since she fell from Cloudsdale as a filly, Twilight and her friends could only see her due to some vaguely-defined magic-related reason, and the Element Of Kindness gave her a physical form so she could fight evil. In the finale it's revealed the townsponies were fine with a ghost living there since that's one of the least weirdest things to happen in that God forsaken town, and Fluttershy goes back to living her 'life' as if nothing changed.
