Sonic so badly wanted to be with what's-her-face, but as she once told him,

"You're too fast."

Those words resounded in his head as he did his best to forget them…

One day he saw what's-her-face with a new hedgehog. He was purple, and scored highest in the Sonic fighting academy. As they walked past Sonic together, he could have sworn he heard the hedgeheg say under his breath;

"Nothing personnel, kid."
