So how did the series creator, Masahiro Sakurai, choose who would be in it? "Does the character have something inherently unique about them? Can that be used to make Smash Bros. interesting? Is the character a representative character [for the source material]? Do they conflict at all with other characters? Was there anything about them that stood out when we began development?" As for who doesn't make the cut, Sakurai noted, "Characters from a series that has no future are rarely chosen. Also, fighters that switch models are a different matter." In the end, as director, Sakurai has the final say on any character ideas that come across his desk. "Basically, any character is accepted if I believe it works [in the game]. On the other hand, even if a character is unique, if they overlap with other characters and aren't unique as a fighter, they are rejected." Sakurai wrote. Essentially, it all boils down to Sakurai's creative eye and looking at the results, I think it's safe to say his eyes are fine Super Smash Bros., a new piece of fanfiction for the Nintendo 3DS, is a game about anticipatio.. ![Really though, brawlers are my main miis, specially death, because I customed it so its neutral special is M------------ OHKO FALCON PUNCH (it's a kick, though).
Karate Joe uses 3 combo specials and the dragon fist for its neutral (kinda like Little Mac's neutral special, but more powerful and doesn't move from place)
TV host, as I said in the tags, is cooler as a mi itself than as a fighter, so there's not much to say about him. Still, I'm not that good with gunners, so eh.
Jesus was a last-minute adition, so there's not much selection in his moveset... I'm not really good with swordfighters, but still not as bad as with gunners... but I still preffer brawlers
Aside that..
There's Waluigi, who uses a cannonball for his neutral special and the "hammer" specials for the other three. Yeah, kinda sucks
Then, Glorious Lonk from Pensylvania, who uses a moveset based a little of Link. The spin, light shurikens (inventory thingy?), forward charge (sword techniques?) and [spanish name] aura charge (that seemed the most Link-y)
And Petch from Texas is a gunner (found it fitting for some reason) and has a moveset that kinda resembles Zelda's.
There's also (obviously sword-fighter) Finn the human, but I didn't show you yet because I haven't unlocked the bear cap yet.
They all wear their basic outfits because I'm original like that
