Which is odd. Because this is a massive, massive plot point that should have been in the third movie, since it explains why the supposedly bad ass super general sounds like he is lung cancer patient and hunched over and weak. Because his ass got owned at the last second… like 10 minutes before the 3rd movie starts (yes, this is right before that).
And this also serves as a massive foreshadowing of how he dies: how his robo chest contains his organs and is ultra vulnerable.
Also, as another note: his intro should have been in the movies too. Because it established him as that ultra bad ass general that is the specter of goddamn death for jedi. But nope: all we get is a weird guy on life support.
It's a shame they never included this in the actual movie, that scene where he pretty much obliterates five Jedi would have been awesome in movie form =P
