As a feminist, I am offended by the blatant misogyny of the anti-gamergate movement. seif KotakulnAction ubmitted 9 minutes ago by HoboHunter1001 I'm just tired of anti-feminist SJWs in general. Every time someone like Wu calls the death scenes in Tomb Raider murder p--- (scenes which are totally fine when they happen to men, see The Last of Us, RE4, etc.) or Sarkeesian shows clips of people killing women in GTA5 as if that constitutes an argument, I am flabbergasted by how misogynist these suppossed feminist activists are. Women are not weak, and violence that happens to them is not better or worse than violence directed towards men, especially when it is the mere depiction of violence in video games. What does Wu want, no gruesome death scenes when the MC is female? Why do we have to coddle female characters? Why do we have to pretend that they are any more weak or vulnerable than thier comparable male counterparts? What does Sarkeesian want, no women in GTA5? Only men? Or should the women in the game simply be immune to violent mechanics? This is absurd, and what the vast majority of the critiques of this misogynistic movement have amounted to. When you strangle a male in Hitman, it's gameplay. When you strangle a female, it's a "misogynist objectification of women used as background objects." This is either a misogynist desire to portray women as weak or uniquely vulnerable, or it is the same tired crusade against pretend violence that ol' Jack Thompson was on about. Men and women are EQUAL and ll argue against those who disagree, especially when this idea is under dire assault by those who claim to be feminists. I'm sorry Wu. I'm sorry Sarkeesian. I'm sorry Mclntosh, you can couch your anti-feminist hate-speech in all the formalist feminist jargon you want, but insofar as you infantilize and trivialize women in gaming, I will stand against you, as a gamer, and as a feminist.

X Journalists would make claims of people like Anita Sarkeesian "playing video games all her life" when she openly admitted many times she is not a gamer and only starter recently (when it wasn't for an interview). Various developers trading sex or money for good reviews got exposed, journalists who accepted got exposed. People became a bit more critical about supporting a game just because the developer has a victim complex stating tat their game could have only failed because of sexism, instead of their own poor developing skills. What really sealed the deal was opposition often faking their own harassment. Anita sarkeesian and Zoe Quinn have been caught multiple times screenshotting "harassment" while showing that the harrasser's account name in the login. Or when someone called the police to help Sarkeesian against a "very real threat" she was posting about, only for police to find the harasser's messages were coming from her IP address.
