I found the following information after I had already started this idea to research what things I could have for the second panel's text (was between this, [rolfs], and [son of a shepherds]), and that only made everything better.

From Rolf's trivia on the Ed, Edd n Eddy Wiki:
• If you notice, Rolf has a rival who is a wolf, yet ironically, Rolf is only one letter away from being wolf (if you replace the "R" with a "W"). Interestingly, "Rolf" means "wolf" in some Scandinavian dialects.
