I'm pretty sure people of religions other than Christian can get married, therefore marriage is not a biblical institution. Also, that metaphor doesn't really work. With a restaurant you're asking them to make alterations to the service they provide to the customer. With gay marriage you're providing the same service to a wider range of customers, so to speak.
