They actually don't need to censor or change any of this, all they need to do is give Ruby a male voice actor and they can show this on tv.
Since Ruby is the most genderless of the gems it wouldn't be that hard to make people think that Ruby is a "male" gem.

Parent groups are gonna have a field day with this one.
