Plus, don't most people advocating for gun control just want gun control rather than guns being banned at the moment? Trying to ban them entirely is a pretty futile effort, looking at when people tried doing similar things to alcohol a century ago or weed until it got legalized in states (I don't remember if it's only certain states or the whole country.)
