In 2005 I worked on a project to update some of the fx sequences in Carl Sagan's seminal series Cosmos. For this sequence I did all the shots on Jupiter. I started with the original high-res and beautiful matte painting by Adolf Schaller and tried to recreate the creatures as closely as possible.
