The dude in this ad is a guy named Mat Best, he's a kind of poster child for the online military/veteran community. Businesses like NineLine, BRCC, Grunt Style, etc really have a great connection to that online demographic. In fact, the social media/internet presence of the military/veteran community is growing into a really cool and significant internet subculture: just look at things like Terminal Lance, Untied Status Marin Crops, Pope Smoke, ASMDSS, Shit my LPO says, and some of the businesses I mentioned before. The GWOT military community is forming a viable online presence, and I really want to start some entries about this (Like the "Great Meme War of 2016" between all the aforementioned groups. Hilarious stuff). It's definitely a distinct subculture worth documenting here.
